The homie Pharaoh Ivan sent this over…I gave it a listen cause I saw the feature with Murph Watkins who I’ve been featuring plenty on the blog..I’m diggin the EP. Check it out.

The Seventh Seed EP is a seven track project written and performed by Pharaoh Ivan. It is a autobiographic project and the title, seventh seed, is in reference to being the seventh son of his father. The project was recorded in Chicago’s South Loop while The Pharaoh was a student at Columbia College Chicago, he dropped out after a semester. The bulk of the project’s production comes from Toronto’s soul giant, Talen Ted. The EP is beyond soulful and Pharaoh’s raw, honest lyrics are backgrounded almost perfect with the nostalgic beats and classic samples. The project features Chicago’s upcoming emcee Murph Watkins and Brooklyn’s very own, MARS.

JSWISS let’s loose of his newest project Awthenticity. Check it out.

“Real has been overused to the point that its true meaning has been lost. To some people it means having girls, cars and jewelry, and to some it means be overly conscious to the point that it’s hard to relate. But when something’s “Awthentic”, it doesn’t fit into a box, it just IS. Go out and be “Awthentic” and see all of the amazing things you can do.”
