Dope album from the homie Voli, don’t know if it’s new or old, but the joint goes. I’ll update when I get more info. Check it out.
Diggin this video for a cut I featured on here and the podcast from Jesse Medina. Check it out.
Jesse Medina’s “Meet Jesse Medina” was released on 4-1-14 and includes collaborations with Ab-Soul and Sir Michael Rocks (“Riddims 2.0”), Scoe & Nottz and production from Jake One and Nottz (3 tracks) and fellow Bay Area brethren Dan The Automater.
Last one before I take it down. Salute to the homie Allen Poe. Check it out.
The Get Back, is the 1st single from the upcoming EP (to be titled) between Basement Up and Jay Elly, representing Frankfort and Lexington KY, respectively. Allen Poe takes the 1st verse, Jay Elly the 2nd and Phorensicz 3rd. All 3 MCs contribute to the hook, flipping bars back and forth. This Audible Doctor produced track sets the tone for the rest of the EP to roll later this summer.
Diggin this from the homie Pete Sayke. Check it out.
With the second leak from their debut collaborative album, Forever, emcee Pete Sayke and producer ThatKidMyself enlist the support of Kansan soul singer, Brail, and Chicago’s own Neak and Slot-A to bring you Hell on a Highway. Accompanied by ThatKidMyself’s soulful backdrop, each artist paints his portrait of personal struggle, societal ills and learning to survive amid the chaos.
Diggin this from the homie Cee. Check it out.
Cee linked up with Philly resident Hezekiah (Bilal, The Roots, Talib Kweli) for this soulful head nodder. Shot in Mile End (the hipster HQ of Montreal) by long-time collaborator Richard Bastarache, the visuals for ‘It Ain’t Over’ are simple yet fun, as the contagious energy of the two MCs perfectly compliments the positive vibes and strong message of the track.
Cop the album This Is All I Know Here.
